Based in Boucherville, Quebec (just a stone’s throw from Maman Loup’s former hometown of Montreal), Canadian baby carrier manufacturer Chimparoo has been helping parents and caregivers #WearAllTheBabies since 2007. Mother of four and an occupational therapist, founder Christine Duhaime has dedicated her life to promoting the benefits of babywearing and designing a full-range of made-in-Canada baby carriers and accessories. From the stretchy wrap to the soft structured carrier, Chimparoo has a babywearing solution for everyone.
The Chimparoo TREK is a buckle carrier that can accommodate a newborn thanks to an integrated seat that tucks away once outgrown. You can read Maman Loup’s TREK review here. Supremely supportive and compatible with stirrups (purchased separately), the TREK can also be used for children up to 18 months and beyond, with a weight maximum of 45 lbs. There are three possible carry positions: front, back and hip.
