Digimon Adventure Tri.: Reunion is the first Digimon feature length movie since 2000. The DVD includes the Japanese language version with English subtitles and English audio featuring the original English voice cast fans will recognize from all those years ago. It feels as if we’re seeing old friends and picking up right where we left off.
In addition to the movie, there are interviews with the English voice cast and a Look at The Reunion Premiere featurette. It was fun to be able to watch the English version and the subtitled Japanese version to pick up on additional subtleties within the movie. Reunion is great for anime fans who enjoyed Digimon when it originally aired. It’s also a wonderful way to introduce new fans to the stories, characters and animation of this series that has definitely stood the test of time.
