This K’NEX set comes with pieces to build two different products – a jet or a helicopter. It is either or as you build one and then have to take it apart to build the other. You do need to add batteries to the motor which are not included and we recommend adding those first thing before your child builds the item! Once built the jet or helicopter will only go forward or backward. There is no remote so its a little strange to have to keep going to it to change to forward or back, but fun nevertheless.
