A salt lamp is basically a large chunk of real Himalayan pink salt with a light in the middle. Levoit takes their salt directly from the Khewra Mines located on the western edge of the Himalayan Mountains. The lamp has been said to have many benefits, mainly to your emotional and mental health. Some have rumored the salt lamp to even have health benefits but that hasn’t been scientifically proven yet. The thing I love most about these lamps are they are very relaxing and provide a very calming and soothing ambiance to any room.
