Matador Beef Jerky is available in four varieties. Original, peppered, teriyaki and sweet and hot. The original has a nice, smoky flavor. This brand is on the savory side for sure, which is my personal preference for jerky. The jerky is nice and peppered without being so hot that you need to snack on it with a full glass of ice water. The texture is nice and tender, and it doesn’t have that wet or greasy feel like some brands of jerky.
