The Elmo’s World Hide & Seek game is suitable for children ages 6 months and older. It includes a sturdy plastic Elmo with sound, 24 location cards, and game rules that grow with your child. At 6 months old you can play Peek-a-boo with Elmo by hiding him under a blanket or stuffed animal. It reinforces the notion that out of sight does not mean the item has disappeared. Level two is traditional hide & seek with little ones closing their eyes while someone places Elmo in a nearby spot. Babies can crawl and preschoolers can walk (or run, like my daughter!) to the sound of Elmo’s voice. As they enter the preschool years, you can use the enclosed game cards with illustrated clues and have your child count to ten as you hide Elmo.
