We’re huge Halloween fans, but have a moderate tolerance for seriously spooky things. Kids scare super easy so we keep the decor, movies and books a little scary, but not spine-chilling or anything that would evoke nightmares. This year we waved our wand and unearthed some new storybooks that will get kids into the Halloween spirit but won’t frighten them.
B is for Boo, A Halloween Alphabet is a retro-style series of sturdy board book alphabet primers expands to introduce your babies and toddlers to the spookiest holiday on the calendar: Halloween. It features a collection of twenty-six illustrations featuring Halloween-themed concepts, including imaginative costumes, oodles of treats, pumpkins galore, masks and monsters, and haunted houses. The images are colorful, fun and engaging. They will ignite the anticipation of your child’s first Halloween and help to expand their vocabulary in the process. We love this soft scare book. It introduces young children to this spooktacular holiday without alarming them. E is for Enchantment, and this book is very enchanting.
