In Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy all over the body. There are seven main chakras, which start at the spine and go up through the crown of your head. Imagine swirling wheels of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible energy is called many things depending on where you live; Chi, Ki, Qi, Prana, Life force energy, and dozen’s of more names. This Vital force energy is what keeps us healthy, vibrant and alive.

If there is a blockage or imbalance in any of these centers, energy cannot flow freely and this can lead to illness.
