The Fretboard Journal and Pre-war Guitars Co. are giving away this Pre-War shadetop Model D to one lucky Fretboard Journal reader. This guitar sports a 25.4” scale and a 1 3/4” nut. The neck is Honduran mahogany with a 1937 “C” to “V” neck shape. The back is Honduran mahogany and the top is torrefied Adirondack spruce. As with all guitars from Pre-war, this instrument has some wear and aging straight from the factory; we’ve been playing it at the FJ for the last several months and love its sound and feel.
